Take screenshots in our computer screen can be the best solution for those who like making tutorial articles (how-to articles), in order to give a better understanding for the readers when reading your post. By placing certain images inside your post (how-to articles) can make it easier for the readers, especially the newbies readers, to understand every specific step you've instructed in your how-to article.
Anyway, do you want to take screenshots directly from your PC screen? If yes, then you come to the right place. In this post, i would love to discuss about how to take screenshots from our PC screen by using some shortcut key from the keyboard. Now look at the picture below!
Yeah, as you can see in that picture above, that picture above is taken from my laptop screen. Taking that screenshots is necessary when i'm trying to explain to you about "how important it is to backup our current template before editing/redesigning/changing to other templates". Yeah, i hope now you have a full understanding with the purpose of this article. What are you waiting for? Let's get started guys!
In this post, i will show you 2 methods to take screenshots on your PC or laptop. Each method shows us a different way in capturing computer screen by using different operating system, XP and Vista.
First method to take screenshots (XP installed)
Okay, the first method to take screenshots is only available if you are using a computer with XP installed.
1. Pick the screen on your computer you want to take screenshots
Ok, now open the screen you want to capture and then press Ctrl + Print Screen/PrtScr at the same time. By pressing those 2 buttons on your keyboard, will automatically send the captured image to the clipboard (Clipboard is a invincible function on your computer that will save the last object you've just copied and later, ready to be pasted in whatever place you want)
2. Open the image editing software
Now open the image editing software you have in your computer, such as Paint Brush, GIMP or Photoshop.
3. Paste the captured image from the clipboard
Now by pressing Ctrl + V at the same time, you will perform the Paste function. As you can see in the image editing software, the screen you've already captured on the first step will be automatically pasted in your computer.
Anyway, if you are currently using PaintBrush as the image editing software, you must firstly, switch to the Select function or we usually use this function to crop the image. And then, Paste (Ctrl + V) at the same time.
Second method to take screenshots (Vista installed)
Actually, in performing this second method to take screenshots is similar with the first one, the difference is only the operating system we are currently using.
1. Pick any screen on your computer
Now, pick any screen on your computer screen that you want to take screenshots as an image. And then by pressing the FN + Print screen/PrtScr at the same time, the computer screen you open will be automatically captured to the clipboard.
2. Open the image editing software
Now open the image editing software you have in your computer, such as PaintBrush, GIMP, or Photoshop.
3. Paste the image you've already captured
Press right click on the mouse and choose Paste (Ctrl + V). By pressing this Paste button, the image you've already captured in the clipboard will be pasted to the image editing software.
4. Customize the image
Now, in that image editing software, you can easily customize or edit the picture all by yourself guys.
Hope this help. Good luck bloggy!
