How to changing blogs templates?
Okay, in changing blog templates on Blogger, we will firstly need a blogs templates file that has an extension .xml, that later, will be used as a template file that we can inject into the Blogger machine.
In changing blog templates from old template to the new one is very easy and simple to do. We just need to browse the ".xml" file in our Computer and then, push the upload button, and that's it, your blog changes. Here are the steps in changing blogs templates:
1. Login to Blogger
To begin this tutorial, head on to Blogger.com and enter to your account .
2. Go to Edit HTML
In the Dashboard page, pick one of your blog and go to the Layout/Design page. And then, in the Page Element, click at the sub-tab Edit HTML on the top navigation bar to begin changing blog templates.
3. Saving the current template
Anyway, before changing blogs templates to the newest one, i strongly insist you to save the existing template of yours in your computer, you can put it in the Desktop though, just in case you want to pull it back to Blogger machine. Now click at the link Download Full Template.
After clicking the Download Full Template link, you will be presented with the save file window before changing the blogs templates. In this part, you can pick any place in your computer disk about where you are gonna put the template file in your computer.
4. It's time to begin changing your template
Okay, after saving the current template to your Computer in the form of xml file, now it's time for you to begin changing blogs templates to the newest one. Now press the button "Browse" under the Download Full Template link. By pressing the Browse button, you will be prompted with option to pick up the new blogs templates you've already downloaded before in xml file, for example, you can try my creation template called Black and Blue, and then extract the xml file. Now find the new template you're about to upload to your blog.
5. Press Upload
After locating the new template file (xml file) in your computer, now press the Upload button. It may take about 1 or 4 minutes in uploading that xml file to the Blogger server.
6. See the result
After changing blogs templates to the newest one, now your new template has been successfully installed to your blog. If you feel like wanting to revert back to the old template, you can repeat the step from number 4 and begin finding your old template file in your computer.
