How to Add URL to Google and Add URL to Yahoo? and then, How to Send Sitemap for Blogger?

Hi bloggy readers,
After we finished setting up our blog and made a lot of original and quality contents in our blog, it is time to get a recognition in blogosphere and gain a traffic back to our blog. But how exactly to get a traffic from Google or other search engines? The answer is to add URL to Google and URL to Yahoo, and also to send sitemap for Blogger to Google Webmaster.

Yeah, there are many ways to get attention from search engines, especially Google and Yahoo. And one of many ways you can do to gain a daily traffic back to your blog is by writing original contents in your blog and never crib someone's articles to your blog, because, i tell you, that would be clearly in vain in the future.

There is no good thing about cribbing some other people's contents in your blog. You will finally realize that one day, you won't get any traffic from Google, especially when recently, Google has updated their search algorithm to detect splogs or spams blog across the SERPs and hopefully, flag them as the properties of Google sandbox.

Well, that could happen, and they will. That's why, in this post, i just want to ensure you that writing your original contents will finally bring you joy and self proud in the next years to come, as you finally establish your blog. Trust me on that.

As a blogger, from: (1) deciding the niche, (2) creating a basic concept, (3) designing your blog, (4) writing the original contents, and (5) finishing touch such as news update that related with your own blog niche must be done by yourself if you are dead serious on making your blog as a real money making business.

Why original and unique contents hold the important role on getting traffic?

But i need to say that by creating original contents will finally bring you hordes of traffic than by using copying-pasting contents? Well, that's because Google is a search machine that works automatically and will put your blog in the first searching results page if your contents or posts are unique and different from other sources, even though the title of your article is similar with other sources. So, i strongly suggest/insist you for not copying and pasting contents from other articles in your blog.

Okay, now in this post, i want to show you how exactly to get traffic from Google, Yahoo and other search engines by submitting our URL address of our blog or website to those search engine in order to get your blog indexed to their Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs).

How to add URL to Google?

Firstly, to get our blog indexed in the Google result page, we must add URL to Google.

1. Go to the Google Submit URL address page
Now, visit Add URL to Google service to begin submitting your blog to Google. In the Google AddUrl page, you will be directly prompted with the URL field along with the comment field about the blog description you're about to submit.

2. Fill the form
After preparing your blog URL address and the comment about your blog description. Now fill the URL address field in the Google AddUrl with your own URL address, for example http://www.whatmakesblog.com.

And then fill the comment field by writing the description about your blog. For example, look at the URL address and the comment of my WhatMakesBlog.com site i've already submitted long time ago.

URL:
http://www.whatmakesblog.com

3. Press the Add URL
By pressing the Add URL button, you will be automatically redirected to the new page. In this new page, you will receive notification or message below, mentioning that your blog has been successfully added to the Google search engine.
Thank you
Your site URL has been successfully added to our list of URLs to crawl. Please note that we do not add all submitted URLs to our index, and we cannot make any predictions or guarantees about when or if they will appear.
How to add URL to Yahoo?

The steps to add URL Yahoo search engine are actually as simple as when we submit our blog to the Google search engine. Here are the steps you need to follow:

1. Go to Yahoo Site Explorer
Now visit Add URL to Yahoo website. In Yahoo Site Explorer page, you will be prompted with the choices on Submitting you Website/Blog to Yahoo Search engine and Submitting your Blog Feed. Now press the option Submit a Website or Webpage. By pressing that option, you will be presented with the drop-down field regarding the URL address you're about to submit.

2. Enter your URL address
Now enter your blog URL address in the blank form and press Submit URL. By pressing the Submit URL button, you will be brought to the Sign in page. Now Sign in to your Yahoo account using your own username and password you've registered before. After Signing in to your Yahoo account, you will be presented with the congratulations message showing that your blog URL address has been successfully added to Yahoo search engine.
Thank you!
Your URL has been added to our list of URLs to crawl. Please expect a delay of several weeks before your URL is crawled.
3. Send sitemap for Blogger
In order to get a traffic from Yahoo, we also need to send sitemap for Blogger blog that will automatically generate the recent posts you've just made in your blog. Now go back to the Add URL to Yahoo website to begin submitting your blog RSS feed. After that, press the option Submit Site Feed. Again, by pressing this option, you will be presented with the drop-down field regarding the URL address of your blog RSS feed. Now in the part Enter the full URL of the site feed you would like to submit, enter your blog RSS feed URL address. By adding the code /atom in the end of your blog URL address, you can have the full blog Feed URL address. For example, http://www.whatmakesblog.com/atom.xml

Okay, that's it for this tutorial. Hope Google, Yahoo and any other search engines will receive your blog submission and begin adding your blog posts in their SERPs.

I'm Out..

Hei Himmat, thanks for the question.

There are several reasons why your blog hasn't been indexed by Google. Maybe, you hasn't set the configuration of your blog to be visible to Search Engines in the Basic Setting Page. You can check this page to get further information about how to set your blog.

Now go to Dashboard - Setting - Basic.

Hi Himmat Rathore,
Okay, currently, you have 3 blogs with the URL addresses:

1. http://ffullgames.blogspot.com/
2. http://allkeygen.blogspot.com/
3. http://allrajasthanisongs.blogspot.com/

After checking your blog pages in the Google SERPs by typing site:allrajasthanisongs.blogspot.com, i found out that your first blog at ffullgames.blogspot.com hasn't been indexed yet due to lack of contents in that blog.

And then, 2 of your blogs at allkeygen.blogspot.com and allrajasthanisongs.blogspot.com have been successfully indexed to Google SERPs (i haven't checked other search engines) with allrajasthanisongs.blogspot.com has 2 pages of results.

So, i think you must be patient for the first blog to get indexed by Google. Anyway, if you are curious to know how to check the indexed pages of your blog, you can type site:ffullgames.blogspot.com without the prefix http.

Thanks for the question.
