Blogger must have a perspective that their readers will always have problems and blogger is the one that can help them. So if your blog still doesn't have a contact form generator landing page, i strongly suggest/insist even encourage you to add this contact form generator to your blog in order to create a better medium of communication between readers and bloggers.
How contact us form brought me 2 advertisers who are asking for sponsored reviews on my blogs
Anyway, for your information, i must say that contact form generator is so essential in making money online for me. On the other day, i received great offers from people who wanted me to review their sites by writing it down on my blogs, with the exchange of sponsorship, i mean money. Yeah, you heard it right. That's why, if you are still new in blogging, you 've got to add this feature on your blog. Trust me, you will reap many benefits from it.
How to add a contact form generator on Blogger?
1. Go to Kontactr
I found a great website that provides contact form generator a free. Kontactr is what i am talking about. A great website that can help you to make a decent contact form generator. Now, go to Kontactr and start signing up there in order to get the service.
Note: In this tutorial, i suggest you to sign up using a new email address, not your main email address, considering that you don't want your private email address to be suddenly inundated with all the reader's emails (if your blog has a significant traffic each day). So, make another email account and then, use that email address to sign up.
2. Get the widget code
In your Kontactr account, now copy the widget code that has been generated to you and then save it to Notepad, later will be used again in this tutorial. Now proceed to next phase.
Second Phase: Embedding the widget code into your blog
1. Log in to Blogger
Sign in to your Blogger account.
2. Go to New Post
In the Dashboard page, pick one of your blog and go to the New Post page to create a new page. You might wonder why i ask you to make a new post.
Okay, here's the explanation. In making a contact us landing page for our blog, firstly, we must create a new post which later, that new post will be used as a landing page for the contact us. Now, in the title field, name that new page as "Contact Us".
3. Switch to the Edit HTML
Still in the New Post page, there are 2 tabs that can be switched, Edit HTML and Compose. Now switch the tab of the new post into the Edit HTML tab. You can see this tab at the top right position of the new post page. By pushing this tab, you will be able to see the real HTML code that being used on the article.
4. Paste the widget code to that New Post
Now paste the widget code of contact form into the New Post editor through the Edit HTML tab, not in the Compose mode.
5. Switch back to the Compose Mode
After pasting the widget code into the New Post, now switch back to the Compose Mode to see the exact result in the new page. If you are not satisfied with the look of the landing page of your blog contact form generator, you can easily customize it through the Compose Mode or Edit HTML mode.
6. Publish the Post
Now by pressing the Publish Post button, you can now publish the contact us landing page. After that, copy the blog URL address of that contact us landing page.
7. Go to Layout and Edit HTML
After publishing the new post, now go to Layout/Design of your blog. You will enter to the new page regarding the configuration of your blog layout. In this Layout/Design page, there are 3 sub-tabs than can be switched. Now pick the sub-tab Edit HTML to begin editing the whole code of your template.
8. Make a Contact Form Link
If you already have a menu button navigation in the header, now make a new link and name it as "Contact us" and fill the hyperlink with the URL address of the contact form generator landing page you've already made before (see number 6 in this tutorial). For example, now look at the picture below.
As you can see in the picture above, the contact us menu you are about to create will look exactly like in that picture.
But, if your blog doesn't have menu navigation, you can go to this page below and start making a menu navigation for your blog:
9. Save the Change
Now, you can save the template and as you can see in you blog homepage, the contact form generator has been successfully added to your blog.
Okay, that's it for this tutorial. If you something to say regarding this article, or you want to ask any question, just leave your question below, and let's see if i can help you with that.
Good luck bloggy!
