Update Widget Helps You Tell the Readers About Updated Post

Making an update in old posts can be done perfectly if we know how to provide visitors a facility to get a fast notification right away in our blog article. Fortunately, there is one great solution for that, which is by adding an post update widget in our blog. It works automatically that shows readers the oldest articles in our blog that have just been fixed or edited a while ago. This feature/widget on update widget will help inform the readers regarding the updated posts in our blog that contain very important information they need to read. Adding the CSS of an update post


1. Log in to Blogger
Firstly, now enter to the Dashboard.

2. Go to Edit HTML
In Dashboard, go to Layout/Design > Page Element > Edit HTML.

3. Give a tick at the Expand Template widget box.
In the Edit HTML Page, there is one small box called Expand Widget Template

4. Find the code
By pressing Ctrl + F at the same time, now find the code section below:

5. Paste the CSS code
Now copy the code below and then paste it above the </b:skin> code
.updateinfo { display:none; }

6. Save the Change
By pressing the Save Template button, you can now save the current change you've just made in your blog. Now you can proceed to the next phase.

Putting the code in the updated post

Now every time you fix or update your old article, don't forget to add the following HTML code below, at the beginning of part of article, via Edit HTML on post editor.

Content has been
changed.</span>

Post update widget from Beautifulbeta

Anyway if it doesn't work on your blog, i got the update widget from BeautifulBeta which provides the simple copying-pasting code snippet of the actual widget. Now head on to BeautifulBeta to get the code of update widget. After landing to that site, on Sorting, there are 2 options, Published and Updated, now give a tick at the option Updated to get the update widget.

Okay, now you can let the visitors know whenever you've update your previous posts on the Recent Post widget. Hope it works in your blog guys.
