Hi bloggy readers,
Have you all removed the nofollow tags from the template of your blog? If you haven't done it yet, i strongly suggest you to remove that tag immediately. You might wonder why i asked you to do that? Okay, before i go further to that explanation, let me explain to you first about what nofollow tags really is.
Nofollow tags is a tag code given by Blogger, that will strictly forbid every backlink to other sites to be counted due to the pagerank enhancement, in order to decrease spamming activities. That means, if you leave your comment on someone's blog, and then, people visit your blog through the link address you left on your comment, it won't be counted as a backlink and will never affect anything to your blog pagerank.
So you must remember that, in order to boost your pagerank, your blog must be visited by other people through the links from other websites or blogs with the higher value of pagerank without the nofollow tags, so every link backs from other sites to your blog will be counted as vote. Otherwise, if nofollow tags are still nailed in your blog, it will avoid visitors from leaving their comments, because they know your blog's backlink won't affect to their blogs.
Therefore, in this post, i encourage you to banish this nofollow tags from your blog template in order to encourage visitors in leaving their comments on your blog. Follow the steps below in order to remove the nofollow tags from your blog.
1. Log in to Blogger
Now go to Blogger.com and Sign in to your Blogger account.
2. Go to Edit HTML
In the Dashboard page, now go to Layout/Design > Page Element > Edit HTML.
Just in case if later, you want to set all the links in your blog as nofollow tags again, now save your current template to make a back up template by pressing "Download Full Templates".
3. Expand your blog template code
In the Edit HTML Page, there is one small box called "Expand Widget Template" next to it, now press that small box.
4. Find the code
To remove all the nofollow tags in your blog, you will need to find a specific code in your template. Now press Ctrl + F and find the code below:
rel='nofollow'
5. Remove all 3 nofollow tags in blog template
In order to remove the no-follow effect in your blog, you must remove the nofollow tags you found in your blog template. Now remove the code in red. You will find 3 nofollow tags in your template, so what you need to do is to remove those 3 nofollow tags from your blog. See this example!
<a expr:href='data:backlink.url' rel='nofollow' ><data:backlink.title/></a>
Remember! only the code in red color. By removing all of the 3 nofollow tags from your blog template, every link that has been placed in the post, comment box and other areas in your blog layout will be counted as backlink. So, you have successfully removed all the nofollow tags from your template.6. Save the template
Now by pressing the Save Template button, you can now save the current change you've just made in your blog template.
Hope it works guys! See you again at my next posts.

oh the quickly method to find nofollow, thanks for your info bro :D
Yeah, You are welcome Oen-oen..
I can't find the "expand widget template" box, I wonder if blogger have changed the page as they are onto people removing the link using this method?
@Nancyrowina, what do you mean you can't see the Expand Widget Templates "box"? What i meant to say as Expand Widget templates "box" was a little box in the top position of HTML template codes. It's over the HTML codes. You can see there. The function is of course to expand the HTML codes.
I think it's impossible for Blogger Blog service to change the page just to avoid people from removing the no-follow tag, because if the no-follow tag is still stacked to all the blogs and websites across the world, it'll make it harder for the websites or blogs owner to climb the Search Engine Result Page.. Anyway for the 2nd question..
thanks for the info,
@khae, sure. You are welcome!!
